Northernwood Ginza

Super small hole in the wall, but phenomenal coffee. There is seating for about 7 people, but you can get coffee to go and sit on a bench across the street if it is a nice day. Barista was super nice and helpful. There was only one barista there working though, so if it is rush hour or a busier time, you may have to wait. I think they hand grind the beans for every order. Great options of coffees, lattes and matchas. They have non-dairy milk options as well. You have to check out the bathroom in this place, I was quite impressed for a coffee shop!

I looked for a caffeine fix around Shiodome-Ginza area and encountered this warm cozy coffee shop tucked just right next to Mitsui Ginza Hotel. They serve a medium roast creamy cappuccino which suited me very well. The baristas are lovely and I might want to try their honey latte next time.

Wonderful coffee. A small quiet cafe with very few good looking seats that were totally uncomfortable. I guess we were supposed to sip and dash as the cafe was busy. I would not mind going back for the coffee though. The barista was friendly and pleasant.

One of the best Strawberry Matcha we've had. This place, though small had a great vibe to it. We went around 12pm and it wasn't busy at all. It was the perfect place to stop and grab a drink before moving on with the rest of our day. Staff were extremely friendly and spoke English. Their coffee was also great, smooth, not too bitter.

I ordered the matcha strawberry latte which was absolutely DELICIOUS! I usually do not like to drink tea, coffee, lattes, or anything besides juice. We had to order another cup each even though I typically never like a drink enough to order a second serving, but this latte was perfect for me. My husband got the black sesame latte which was also very good. The atmosphere was very nice, so we chatted while having our drinks. The baristas were very friendly as well. I am so glad we came here!

We were exploring Ginza on a rainy day and were looking for a cozy place to wait out the shower. We were happy to find that NORTHERNWOOD GINZA was nearby. This is a small coffee shop. It's important to note that seating is quite limited, so we were lucky that some chairs had just become available; otherwise, we might have had to stand. The staff was friendly and service-oriented, which was a real plus. The coffee was decent and tasty, and they offer a nice selection of drinks. Overall, it was a great little spot to spend some time until the rain passed. While they offer a nice selection of drinks, please be aware that they do not serve any food.

Still, for great lattes and a beautiful ambiance, Northernwood Ginza Cafe is worth checking out!
